UNDERSTANDING THE ACQUISITION PROCESS FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
In this session, we will review the end-to-end acquisition process and identify other related processes. We will also identify resources available to HTM and other health care professionals that will enhance the ability to support their organization’s acquisition process in a more strategic and effective manner (i.e. AAMI Acquisition Guide for Clinical Technology Equipment; May 2019). Finally, we will highlight where and how HTM professionals can make the most impact in their organization’s acquisition process.
