PRODUCT DEMO: DISCOVER, PROFILE, SECURE YOUR CONNECTED MEDICAL DEVICES
Monday, November 9, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Do you know what connected medical devices are doing on your network? As healthcare and IT continue to evolve, IoT (Internet of Things) and IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) devices are constantly being added to a healthcare network, and these devices do not always have security in mind. A misconfigured IoT or IoMT device can result in non-expected behavior, such as sending sensitive data outside the environment or could potentially impact patient safety. In this session, you will hear best practices for getting an up-to-date and realtime inventory of the IoT and IoMT devices, understanding what these devices may be doing on the healthcare network, as well as understand any risk associated with the devices and ways to segment devices to ensure they stay in their swim lanes.
