Since AEM has been authorized by CMS, many CE/HTM departments have struggled to implement it, especially because of the requirement to evaluate its safety and effectiveness. This presentation will show how the evidence-based maintenance method developed prior to AEM can be used to plan, implement and monitor the AEM program as well as to evaluate and prove its safety and effectiveness.
