When will registration open for MD Expo New England?

Registration for the fall conference is expected to open in early June 2024.

Which registration option applies to me?

If you are employed within a hospital, health care facility or active military select option #1.

If you are a student currently enrolled in a college or university, select option #1 and register using your school-issued email address.

If you are retired military or retired from the HTM field as a former service professional, select option #1.

If you are employed with an ISO but work exclusively in a hospital or healthcare facility select option #1 and register under your hospital name and with your hospital email address.

If you are employed by a company, service organization or manufacturer/OEM, select option #2.

If you are employed by an ISO and are not an active service professional in the field, select option #2.

If you are a spouse/significant other seeking to attend the exhibit hall and networking events with your partner, the “Spouse” option can be added on to the original registration.

What does the registration fee include?

Admission to all education (excluding CBET Certification Study Review unless added on separately), exhibit hall admission and admission to the Oktoberfest finale party are INCLUDED with your conference registration along with the following meals:

  • Keynote Kick-off Lunch and appetizers and drinks at the Exhibit Hall Grand Opening on Wednesday, October 9
  • Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner and drinks at the Oktoberfest finale party on Thursday, October 10
Can I earn Continuing Education credit by attending MD Expo?

Yes! The education presented at the MD Expo is pending approval for up to (8) CEUs by the ACI. An additional 8 CEUs will be earned if attending the CBET Certification Study Review Part I and II and an additional 6 CEUs for attending a HOT Workshop.

What is the CBET Certification Study Review and is there an additional cost?

This is a two-part review that will cover each area of the CBET exam outline including:

  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Public safety in the healthcare facility
  • Fundamentals of electricity and electronics
  • Healthcare technology and function
  • Healthcare technology problem-solving;
  • Healthcare information technology

The CBET exam will not be offered during this session. There is a cost of $125 to register for this session (discount codes not applicable).

What is a H.O.T. Workshop and is there an additional cost?

The H.O.T. (Hands-on Training) Workshops are being introduced at MD Expo to provide an all-day, hands-on training option for technicians to learn the ins and outs of servicing different types of equipment. 

These sessions will be offered on Tuesday, October 8 from 9 am to 4 pm (with an hour break for lunch) and will be eligible for CEUs through ACI. The cost to attend is $100 (discounts not applicable).

What is the Leadership Summit, and do I qualify to attend?

The Leadership Summit is a group of hand-picked HTM leaders consisting of directors and managers from America’s most prestigious hospitals and health care systems. Vendors and company representatives are not included in this event. To apply to join the Leadership Summit, click HERE.

Where do I park?

With more than 13,000 on-site guest parking spaces, parking at Mohegan Sun is never a hassle, whether you are visiting Casino of the Earth or Casino of the Sky. Entrances to Casino of the Earth are themed by the seasons Winter, Summer and Autumn. Once inside, the casinos are connected by the Spring Gateway; so you never have to leave the building.

Is there a discounted rate for the hotel?

What is the dress code for the conference?

The dress code is business casual, though the meeting rooms can tend to run cool so we do recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket.

Where do I go when I arrive at the hotel?

The MD Expo registration desk, exhibit hall and education is located in the Earth Tower.

Do I have to “check-in” once I arrive?

You may visit the MD Expo registration desk at any point during the conference, but we ask that you do so prior to attending any sessions or entering the exhibit hall so that we can provide you with your badge and conference materials.
