DEMONSTRATING ULTRASOUND IMAGE APPLICATIONS, OPTIMIZATION AND ARTIFACTS FOR SERVICE ENGINEERS WITH LIVE SCANNING
Attendees will understand the “language” of the sonographer regarding image optimization and presentation. Ultrasound technologists use terms to describe image quality such as “grainy,” “contrasty,” “washed out,” “noisy” and others. How do we as service professionals relate sonographer-ese into something we can understand and assist with? When looking at the user interface of an ultrasound system, what do all those knobs, dials, levers and menus mean and how do they affect the image? This class will include an ultrasound system, and all imaging terms will be DEMONSTRATED LIVE on a real person. We will also cover image artifacts and remedies. Regardless of how good you are technically, this is a soft skill that makes a good ultrasound service professional a great one.
